Fellowships, Research Opportunities, Grants, & Scholarships

The Fellowships, Research Opportunities, Grants, and Scholarships (FROGS) site provides a range of resources for students in the College who are seeking scholarships, post-graduate fellowships, and on-campus research opportunities.

Current undergraduates and recent graduates may use the searchable database to browse available scholarships and research opportunities.  Other sections of the FROGS site also provide tips, advice, and additional resources for finding and applying for these opportunities.

Which would you like to explore?

Students interested in general funding for their undergraduate education at UChicago should consult the Office of College Aid.  These listings are primarily for research, study abroad, or post-graduate studies. All of the opportunities listed on this site are merit-based, most are highly competitive, and some require university endorsement or nomination.

After researching the eligibility requirements and selection criteria for a particular scholarship or fellowship, students are invited to contact the College Advising office to schedule an appointment for further, specialized advising with lead advisers who specialize in particular programs.  General inquiries may also be directed to collegescholarships@uchicago.edu.

Students who are interested receiving regular information on upcoming competitions, deadlines, and workshops can subscribe to the Fellowships Info  listserv by visiting https://lists.uchicago.edu/web/info/fellowships_info.

College Scholarship Advisers are located in the Harper Memorial building. For appointments call (773) 702-8615. Please bring a copy of your current resume to your meeting.
